1996 F350 crew cab 4x4,
with the 7.3 Power Stroke turbo diesel. I get a lot of requests for diesels,
but don't get a chance to buy many. Most have a half million miles on
them or are beat work trucks. This heavy duty 4x4 is 100% rustfree from
New Mexico and still features much of it's original paint. The body has some
small dings and some clear coat coming off, but hasn't been a beat
work truck. Even the bed is pretty nice inside. It has has a bed
liner in it most of it's life. I took the liner out for pics. It
is back in now.
This is well optioned "XLT" model. It features
the 7.3 Power Stroke turbo diesel, overdrive automatic, Cold A/C, PW, PDL, Tilt,
working Cruise, B&W flip over ball goose neck hitch, Dual tanks etc.
It also has a nice sounding Pioneer
AM/FM CD stereo. I also just installed 2 brand new batteries
The
interior is pretty clean for it's age, but showing some ware and stains.
I have had
several 80's and 90's crew cab fords, but this is the first diesel.
This truck runs and drives excellent. It
has 281k which is about normal or even low for these diesel trucks.
It starts right up and runs nice. It does have some white smoke
and smells rich on start up but seems to go away as you drive it.
I'm no diesel expert.
This crew cab feature all the heavy duty parts. It has the
straight axle Dana 60 front axle and the Sterling limited slip rear axle
with 3.55 gears. The brakes stop nice, and the suspension is
tight. The OE exhaust is even still nice. It has decent
315/75/16 BFG's on stock wheels. These are close to a 35" tall
tire.
This is a no excuses hop in and
drive very desirable crew cab 4x4. |
